Those of you who know me know that I am not in fact cooking challenged- however I respect those who are, and even for those who aren't, this dessert is incredibly simple and yummy. Basically, it's just taking a packaged dessert and making it a lot better.|
4 small tart pans
1 pkg. Banquet Dessert Bakes - Chocolate Silk Pie
3/4 cup of 2% milk
1/2 cup of half and half
1 pint of strawberries
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tbsp. melted margarine or butter
First, remove tops from strawberries. Slice and gently toss in sugar- set aside.
Prepare the pie according to the package directions, substituting margarine for water when mixing the crust, and milk and half and half for water when mixing the filling. Pour filling into tarts, refrigerate, blah blah- serve with sliced strawberries. Yummy! ANYONE can make this. I promise.
